Jornada 5

The eagerly awaited clash of the top two clubs lived up to it's billing, when Peña Sport and Valle de Egues met in Tafalla on Sunday. In a thrilling 2-2 draw, Valle did enough to hang on to top spot on goal difference.

Tudelano and Aoiz remain in third and fourth place respectively, after second-bottom Txantrea were beaten 3-2 in Tudela, and basement club Idoya lost 2-0 in Aoiz. The other two clubs occupying the relegation zone, Mendi and Ardoi, also lost. In Estella, Izarra won 4-0 at home to Mendi, while Ardoi went down 4-1 at home to newcomers Peña Azagresa.

Mutilvera lost 2-1 at home to improving San Juan, while Lagunak lost 3-2 in Cascante to Aluvion. Murchante had a 1-0 home win over Iruña. Huarte and Cirbonero played out a 0-0 draw. Oberena beat River Ega 3-2 at home, courtesy of a last-minute winner.

The sixth round of games takes place midweek, on Wednesday night.
