CD Oberena 2-0 CA Cirbonero

Despite strong opposition from the team from la ribera, Oberena today picked up three valuable points, which must surely boost their confidence before Wednesday's cup game with Haro.

With the temperature at three degrees, and on a hard pitch, there was little opportunity for either side to play attractive football, but in December, when points are scarce, a win is a win.

The teams went in level at the break, but the manguiverdes approached the second half with more aggression, and scored in the 54th minute through Zabalza. Charly Jauregui made the points safe seventeen minutes later.

CD Oberena: Montoro, (above), Ilundain, Izco, Barrachina, Ripodas, Gil, Jaurrieta, Jauregui, (Varea 83rd), Zubillaga, (Remacha 77th), Zabalza, Moler, (Barbero 71st).

Attendance 150
