Crucial Period For Oberena

CD Oberena are looking to the next three games as crucial to mounting a championship-winning run.

The team from Pamplona face third-placed Valle de Egues at home next week, knowing that any slip-up would dent any title hopes, even at this relatively early stage of the season.

Egues had a home win on Saturday over top team Pena Sport, and will be very difficult to beat. The winning goal was scored by Eder Torrades Huarte, his 12th of the campaign, and the Oberena defence will need to ensure that he is given no chance on Sunday.

The following week, Oberena are across the city to Txantrea, the team currently sitting three points behind. Again, this will be a difficult contest, as in-form striker Eztieder has already bagged eight goals. In the corresponding fixture last season, Txantrea beat the manguiverdes 2-0.

The first game in December sees Oberena entertain Tudelano, another team with 20 points. However, Oberena are now unbeaten in ten games, and are playing with confidence, under coach Javier Urizar, (pictured top), and are currently a match for any team in the division.

Aupa Oberena!!
